Bbq chicken wings and Jasmine rice

So two days ago I seasoned my chicken wings and let them marinate. Let's go back to how well I seasoned these wings that I couldn't help but taste the seasoning after I was done working it in. I know I felt so fat for doing so but hey I need to make sure my meat has lots of flavors. Not only did I add the spices I put one cup of bbq sauce on the chicken and two tablespoons of brown sugar so it can soak into the chicken as well. I mean my mouth was watering for almost two days because I could not wait to bake these bad boys. When I got in from school last night I decided it was time to actually bake my chicken and stop dreaming about the taste. I headed into the kitchen and of course, my daughter was right on my heels ready to help me. I grabbed my potatoes of the draw, found my cutting knife, and got my cutting board. I washed my potatoes filled my bowl with water and began cutting. I cut my potatoes in I guess I will call them some type of chunky squares lol. I sat my potatoes in another bowl of fresh water for thirty mins and went to preheat my oven to 350. I removed the seasoned chicken from the fridge and spread the potatoes on the bottom of the pan then added the chicken on top. I got two tablespoons of butter and melted it then poured it all over the chicken. Since I added the butter I didn't have to add water especially since the chicken will also produce its own water. I placed the pan in the oven covered for an hour and a half and proceeded to add two cups of jasmine rice into my rice cooker. With the rice, I just added to cups of water, a dash of salt and pepper, and a spoon of butter. Once the hour and a half was up I brushed on barbeque sauce and added the chicken back in the oven for another hour and a half uncovered. When the time was up I removed the chicken placed it to cool then made my plate. This meal was very yummy can't wait to make this meal again.
