General Tso Chicken

This was a bit complicated because of all the elements. I started by placing all my ingredients out to the side that consisted of one egg, a cup of flour, a sprinkle of salt, some onion powder, and garlic powder. I cracked the egg in a bowl and added a cup of water while mixing the spices in I beat it all together. After about two minutes I added a cup of water and cornstarch, once it was all combined I set it aside. I started my fire with a cup of vegetable oil, I would be using two chicken breast that I cut into cubes. I placed the chicken into the mixture and let it sit for about five minutes. Once the oil heated I began adding my chicken in as far away from each other as possible so that they wouldn't stick together. When the chicken was crispy to my liking I placed it on a plate with a napkin to drain all the oil off. I washed the pot and placed some more oil and put the chicken back in so it would be really crunchy even after the sauce is added to it. I only let the chicken fry for another two minutes because I didn't want it to burn or become too dry. I let the chicken sit for a while on a fresh napkin and began preparing the sauce it would cook in. I used two cups of chicken broth, tbs of cornstarch, tbs of minced garlic, two tbs of low sodium soy sauce, a cap full of sesame oil, half of cup of rice vinegar, one chopped scallion, and a tbs of honey. I mixed everything together in a mixing cup until the corn starch was combined. I used my wok with some of the oil I just used and combined my mixture until it began to boil I added the chicken in and let it cook for less than five minutes. The sauce became thick and I turned my fire off and added some sesame seeds to make it pretty.
